The Music Room
Some great links to check out...
Simply Music: If you haven't already checked this site out - do it now. It's great for new inquirers. All my current students (and parents) should look at it too.
Beginner Blues for Piano: Students who have finished the level 1 & 2 blues pieces (Jackson, Bishop, Alma Mater/3, Light Blue) and have been introduced to the blues scale will really appreciate having a jam around this site!
Chord Maps for Song Writers: This is a great site for those students who have finished Accompaniment 1 and would like to experiment with song writing. I would encourage my students to enjoy grappling with the concepts as far as we have covered, but don't become overwhelmed. You will have enough ideas to follow up if you just go to where you feel comfortable.
SFS Kids, Fun with the orchestra: This is a fun site for the mini muso's. Go kids!
Genre Sampler: In Simply Music we often talk about giving you opportunity to play across the various music genres. This is a site which will launch you into an in depth tour of some of the major music genres. Get a cuppa and enjoy.
